This is me.

In my decade of working in marketing and events, I have discovered my personal mission to create inspired community through marketing, media and shared experiences.

One way I am fulfilling that mission is in the role of Project Manager at the City of Carmel, where I plan, manage and promote community events in core districts of the City as part of the Community Relations & Economic Development initiatives. In this role I also serve as a community ambassador in public and to the media.

I also work as a freelance event producer and enjoy partnering with organizations to make their event visions come to life (in-person and virtual). I am an entrepreneur at heart and recently spent a season producing my own events, the first of which I piloted was a series of pop-up outdoor fitness parties called Sweat & Sip.

I used to serve as the Director of Marketing, Events and Community Experience at EDGE Mentoring. I oversee our marketing and communication strategy and execution; and plan and execute our events, with special attention to the annual leadership conference, EDGE|X, which went virtual for the first time in 2020.

Previously, I was the Vice President of Marketing & Communications at the Center for the Performing Arts, home of the Palladium, where I began as the founding Marketing Manager in a start-up capacity as we opened to the public in 2011 and established marketing and communications operations from the (literal) ground up.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my two daughters, gathering with friends and daydreaming about vacations. Music is my love language, and so I enjoy all forms: listening, attending live concerts, and playing piano, guitar and singing. I'm also on a personal fitness journey that's led me to obsess about yoga, running, and enjoying everything I can about group fitness activities.

I am a lifelong learner. Not a day goes by where I haven't read a few articles or a chapter in a book, watched a documentary or picked up a new concept while attending a class, working on a project or participating in a webinar.

From Brazil to Miami, London to San Francisco, and even at home in Indianapolis, I enjoy new experiences and growing my perspective of the world. Exploring satisfies my natural character of curiosity and gives me new energy to bring to everyday life.

I enjoy creating new ideas and projects, as well as finding ways to refresh old ideas with innovation. I enjoy a challenge where my vision and leadership can directly impact the growth and success of a project. At work I pour into strategy, plans and implementation; I also sing, cook, and decorate.
